Christi is the owner/operator of Great Lakes Therapeutic Massage and Wellness Center. She is a Nationally Certified Massage Therapist, and a Nationally Certified Medical Massage Therapist.
Christi took over GLTM in 2010 and is working to create an integrated wellness center, merging several treatment methods and wellness resources to provide our community with access to the best therapeutic services available.
Christi earned her Bachelors degree in Psychology from Ohio University in 2000. She enjoys using this resource to help people find the lost connection between their body and mind allowing them to heal themselves on a more complete level. She later graduated from SHI Integrative Medical Massage School in Lebanon, Ohio in 2004 and has been practicing full time since then. She has advanced training in orthopedic massage from The Medical Massage Office and has completed an in depth training course in Oncology/Hospital Massage at Beaumont Hospital.
The Massage styles she practices are; Therapeutic (chronic pain and injury recovery), Swedish (relaxation), Deep Tissue, Hot Stone (seasonal) and Oncology massage (helping those with cancer in any stage of recovery).
Christi loves to help her clients who are experiencing pain find fast, effective relief through therapeutic massage, stretching and stress management techniques. |

Debra is a Certified Massage Therapist specializing in Swedish Relaxation, Deep Tissue, and Therapeutic Massage. She was professionally trained at Oakland Community College, and graduated with honors in 2001.
Debra specializes in Therapeutic, Deep Tissue Massage, and Swedish Relaxation massage. She often works with clients who are in physical therapy, and uses massage to reduce associated stress and pain.
Debra, a physically active person herself, is accustomed to athletes and their body aches and injuries. She enjoys giving sanctuary to clients looking to reduce physical and mental stress, and to rejuvenate them to maintain their busy lifestyles. |

A Certified Massage Therapist and yoga instructor, Jennifer earned her B.A. in psychology from the University of Michigan. She completed massage certification at Biolink, in Tempe, Arizona in1997, and completed her yoga teacher instruction at Body Language Fitness and Yoga Center in Commerce, Michigan in 2009.
She has taken advanced training in Thai Massage, a hybrid of yoga and massage therapy. This allows her to provide more assisted stretching and movement for her clients creating a more relaxing and effective massage session.
She also has advanced training in prenatal massage and enjoys working with mothers-to-be.
Jennifer says, "I listen to the individual client's needs to best work with a person as a whole, utilizing trigger point therapy, myofascial stretching, acupressure, and energy balancing."
She enjoys spending time outside in the sunshine with family and friends, capturing images with photography, grounding through massage and yoga, and counting her blessings. |

Julia is a Certified Traditional Naturopath and received her formal training from the Naturopathic Institute of Therapies and Eduction in Mt. Pleasant, Michigan. Julia specializes in digestive issues, hormone balancing, immunity issues, allergy correction, women's health issues, and chronic conditions including diabetes, high blood pressure, and high cholesterol. Julia also assists clients with ongoing wellness and prevention.
Naturopathy is a unique approach to healing with the goal of harnessing the body's own ability to heal itself through the support of natural remedies or therapies that remove barriers to health. As a naturopath, Julia is concerned with the health of the whole person and programs are customized to the needs of each individual.
During health consultations, Julia uses evaluation techniques including:
- Iridology
- Sclerology
- Muscle Response Testing (MRT)
- Face, Tongue, and Nail Analysis
Naturopathic Recommendations may include:
Nutritional suggestions, herbs, essential oils, homeopathy, flower remedies, cleanses, meridian correction, reflexology, raindrop therapy, lymphatic drainage, bodywork, Chakra clearing, and light healing touch. |
